Shipping Destinations

The Organization-Store.com is located in South-East Michigan and we ship world wide to over 200 countries. Our primary markets are the United States and Canada, however we do ship globally. Please see our International Shipping Information Page for more information about international shipments. We also ship to US military addresses (APO, FPO). We ship based on the shipping weight of the products ordered. We found this to be the most accurate way to obtain true shipping costs. Keep in mind that the shipping weight may be higher than the actual weight of the order because shipping weight takes in to account the dimensional weight (how much space the package takes up) of the shipment. For example a large plastic crate may only weigh a few pounds but it will ship at a much higher weight because of its size. All carriers use dimensional weight.

The Organization-Store.com understands that shipping cost are a concern for our customers so we try to have accurate shipping weights on our products. We have found that having accurate weights and shipping based on those weights is the best way to obtain fair and correct shipping costs. Unlike many sites we do not artificially inflate our prices to cover shipping costs. You are always guaranteed the lowest price on anything we sell.

Shipping Methods

The Organization-Store.com uses both Fed Ex and USPS as our primary small package carriers. We reserve the right to use which ever carrier or method we feel is the most cost effective method to have your package arrive in the time you specified in your shippng choice.

The Organization-Store.com attempts to ship all in stock orders received by 1:00 pm Eastern Time that same day. For expedited shipping (2nd Day or Next Day Air) we guarantee to ship in stock orders the same day if the order is received by 1:00 pm Eastern Standard Time. Expedited orders are not moved or delivered over weekends or holidays, so those days should not be counted for the expected delivery time. Expedited shipping to Hawaii and Alaska takes one additional day to deliver than the chosen shipping method indicates (i.e. 2nd Day Air takes 3 days, and Next Day Air 2 days).

Please keep in mind that the 1:00 pm same day shipping for in stock orders shipping ground is a goal that we hit most of the time but is not a guarantee. We can not ship the same day for any order where all items ordered are not in stock, or the item will be drop shipped from our vendor. Also if you provide us with a questionable or inaccurate shipping address or we will have to contact you regarding your payment your shipment will be delayed. In these cases the faster you respond to our phone call or email the faster we can ship your order.

LTL Shipping

The Organization Store sells some items that are just too big or heavy to ship via our small parcel carriers like Fed Ex. These items are identified on the individual item pages and require us to use an LTL (less than truckload) carrier. These carriers use a left-gate to assist in delivery but will only deliver to the curb near your home or business. If you would like the item delivered inside (first floor only) you may purchase inside delivery for $100.00. More complicated inside deliveries or to floors other than ground level will require additional charges which can be quoted before delivery. LTL carriers require you to be home for delivery so they will call in advance to set a delivery appointment.

International Shipping

As stated above we ship world wide to over 200 countries. All customers outside the United States are responsible for any additional duties, taxes or charges assessed by their governments. If you would like a shipment to Canada or a US territory, please see our Shipping Rate Table

Drop Shipping

Drop ship means that an order, or part of an order will be shipped to you directly from our vendor. This is usually done to save shipping costs, and to help keep our prices low. For drop shipped items you will not see a quantity under the shipped column on your invoice. Some drop shipped items are special order, and therefore are not returnable. These items will be marked on the item page.

Incorrect Address

Customers are responsible for providing us with their correct shipping address. Fed Ex charges us a fee of $13.00 for all address corrections including incorrect or missing business names. We must pass this fee on to you if you provide inaccurate shipping information on your order so please double check your address before you complete your order.

Delivery Time

The following delivery timetable map is an estimate only, and applies only to FedEx Ground Shipping. USPS shipping may not adhere to this chart. By the beginning of December we will put a countdown clock on the site for ground holiday shipments identifying how much time you have to order to receive your shipment by Christmas. Factors such as severe weather conditions and holidays should be considered when calculating Ground shipping time.

As addressed above, in stock orders placed before 1:00pm ET will likely ship the same day. Orders placed after 1:00pm ET should ship the following business day. Please consider this when placing your order.

Your satisfaction is absolutely guaranteed. If, for any reason, you are not satisfied with your purchase, simply return it within 30 days.

Return Policy

  • Returns are accepted for any reason within 30 days of delivery with a Return Merchandise Authorization Number (RMA#) only. Please contact us by email or phone to receive your RMA#. Do not send any item(s) back to us with out an RMA#. Your package will be refused and no money refunded.
  • Products must be returned in NEW condition, in their original packaging, and with all instructions and warranty paperwork included. Items that can not be re-sold as new (including packaging) will not be refunded.
  • Organization-Store.com has partnered with FedEx to offer our customers an easy return shipping label program at a reduced rate compared to list rates. When you contact our Customer Service Department for an RMA#, they will offer to have a FedEx Return Label emailed directly to you. All you have to do is print the label and take it to any of the FedEx Drop Off locations listed in your email. Upon receipt of your return, we will deduct the cost of this label from your refund.
  • For refused or returned to sender packages, we will deduct the amount of the return shipping from your return.
  • You may also choose your own traceable shipping method for a return. Please make sure your RMA# is entered on the return label.
  • You are responsible for all item(s) until they are received by the Organization-Store Returns Department. This means that if item(s) are damaged during shipment, the customer is responsible for making a claim with the freight company to receive a refund. We do not issue refunds for merchandise we can not resell.
  • We may, at our sole discretion, choose to accept a return after 30 days from delivery. A 33 percent restocking fee will be applied. No refunds will be given for Closeout or Special Order items.
  • Do not return damaged, defective items or incorrect items received. Please contact us within 10 days of receipt of your order. We may send a replacement item or parts or exchange the item for an item of equal or lesser value at no cost to you. If you decide you do not want a replacement, you need to contact us to receive an RMA# to complete your return process. The item(s) must be returned to our warehouse, and shipping costs will not be refunded.
  • We do not refund shipping charges. All freight charges incurred are the responsibility of the customer.
  • Refunds will be applied to the method of payment originally used.
  • E-Check customers will need to allow 60 business days for your return to be processed.
  • Check customers will need to allow 21 business days for your return to be processed.

Return Address


First, pack your item securely enough to withstand FedEx shipping. Make sure to include your receipt along with a note explaining the reason for the return. Don't forget to note whether you want an exchange or a refund. Send your return using a trackable shipping method back to our warehouse (even if your order was drop shipped).

Damages and Defects


We make every attempt to keep your order from getting damaged; however, damages and defects do occur. If you receive a damaged or defective product, please notify us within 10 days at 1-800-210-7712. We will ask for your name, order number, the product name, and the nature of the damage/defect. We will require digital pictures of the damage or defect emailed to info@organization-store.com. Once we receive and review the images we will ship you a replacement item (or parts) at no charge to you.

If you decide that you do not want the damaged item, it will be considered a return. The item(s) must be returned to our warehouse, and shipping costs will not be refunded.

If the item was damaged by our carrier we will ask you to keep the item for 10 days from the time you notify us. We may have the item picked up for inspection. We will handle the claim and ship you the replacement item or parts.

Cancel an Order


Here at Organization-Store.com we try very hard to ship in stock orders out to you right away. It is therefore imperative that you make sure you want the order before you place it. Cancelled orders are very time consuming and costly. Therefore, we can not cancel an order after it is placed.
